As part of out technical skills module in college, we were challenged with a project to turn a sculpture into a wearable piece. I was given a paper sculpture by Peter Gentenaar, and created a pleated calico skirt, dyed with alcohol markers, and decorated with draped muslin, as well as a poly-silk boned bodice, and ribbon choker.
